Wellbeing Hub
The Wellbeing Hub
The wellbeing hub is a welcoming, calming and peaceful space for students to seek refuge in when they need time to self-regulate. It is a safe haven where students are able to seek support from our wellbeing team, access some quiet time or mindful break when feeling overwhelmed by the classroom environment. We can provide tools and strategies needed to be ready for learning.
The Wellbeing team works in partnership with teaching staff to support holistic student wellbeing and to help students to actively engage in learning. Using evidence-based strategies and frameworks, such as the Zones of Regulation, the team enacts a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to identify and address students’ academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs.
The Wellbeing Team is an interdisciplinary group, including Psychologists, Social Workers, and Youth Workers, bringing a diverse range of skills and expertise to the school community.
